摘要

本研究提出一個彈性化數位內容應用與版權保護方案，目的在於解構再定義有關數位內容所包含各種基本媒體素材，以提高媒體利用的豐富性與集合再創作的擴充性，而媒體素材的解析與彈性化結合可以促使數位內容更彈性地被流通使用。此外，透過數位版權保護的技術手段，使得基本媒體素材之權力擁有者可以確保其所有之數位版權，並在被應用時上達到宣示與控管的效果。若以目前較新的說法，本研究所提出之數位內容的解構再定義概念，可以充分支援所謂社群化使用以及使用者參與的內容服務型態，對象包括專業的數位影音或有聲出版商、業餘的創作者以及一般使用者，而服務模式與目標為將數位內容本身或其所包含之素材與呈現樣態，作為延伸製作與創作的來源，結合新的使用者或多人的集體創意，衍生組合成更具吸引力的內容與服務。

This paper proposes the idea of a more flexible mechanism for content utilization and copyright protection. In order to facilitate and enforce the reuse, user contribution, community concept of the digital content, the content data structure or its metadata have to be decomposed and redefined. For example, a video clip may consist of basic materials like two sound tracks, sequential video segments and a subtitle, and each of the basic materials is good to be selected and integrated with other materials to become a new digital content, a new video clip or music. With the proper definition of decomposable content structure and associated metadata descriptions, new digital rights management techniques can be developed accordingly to preserve the rights of materials and the resulting content, in regard of the ownership declaration and usage authorization. We believe the idea of decomposition and redefinition of digital contents along with the copyright techniques will help to toward a more flexible and prosperous content service.
