摘要

目前通訊技術無論是在固網、行動通訊、數位廣播方面，皆朝向頻寬極大化、移動高速化、接取多元化與IP化的服務融合趨勢演進。因應未來全球通訊技術發展趨勢及提升國內通訊產業的競爭力，工研院資通所在寬頻無線通訊技術研發方面，鎖定佈局前瞻行動通訊的關鍵智財權及固定與行動匯流(FMC)技術二大方向，期能累積核心技術能量，為我國無線通訊產業建立永續發展的平台，並協助國內產業建構以智財權支援的高附加價值及系統整合的產業型態。

The global development of communication technology is evolving toward maximum data transmission rate, high mobility, diversified access and All-IP network. The evolution is taking place for fixed network, mobile communication, and digital broadcasting. To enhance the competitiveness of domestic communications industry, the Information and Communications Laboratories (ICL) of Industrial Technology Research Institute has been conducting research and development programs on wireless communications technologies for a long period of time. ICL focuses on developing intellectual properties in wireless communications and Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) technology. Our objectives are to enhance core technology for the domestic industry and establish platforms and frameworks for continuing development of local wireless communications industry. ICL also help local companies generate high value-added products supported by intellectual properties and system integration industry.
