摘要

本文提出一套運用於視訊監控之視訊強化方法，於兼顧視訊強化品質前提下達到快速運算效能。本方法首先運用空間相似性，以影像降階取樣方式快速逼近各像素之強化係數；其次利用時間相似性，結合低運算量之位移偵測方法，依據各像素之異動狀態決定沿用或重新計算其強化係數。本方法採用視訊監控之標準影片集－室外PETs2001及室內Terrascope進行測試，可在維持視訊強化品質下節省約97%運算量。

This paper presents a video enhancement method for video surveillance applications, which achieves good enhancement quality and computational efficiency simultaneously. The proposed method effectively estimates the enhancement factor of each pixel by image downscaling based on spatial similarity. A low cost motion detection method is further integrated to maintain the enhancement state of each pixel based on temporal similarity. Experimental results show that the proposed method could save about 97% computational cost with acceptable quality for the outdoor benchmark PETs2001 and indoor benchmark Terrascope.
