行動影音傳輸之影音品質調適方法探討

摘要

隨著行動通訊技術(3G、WIFI)與移動式裝置的發展逐漸成熟，行動多媒體相關應用也相繼而生。由於行動通訊網路比起固接式網路，具有不穩定的網路特性，導致使用者在收看行動多媒體串流影音時，常會獲得較差的收看品質。因此在這樣的架構下，品質調適(QoS)的相關技術變成相當重要的課題，有不少研究可以著力以提升收看品質。本文首先介紹影音傳輸的概念與規範，以及考量影音品質調適的方法，實現行動串流的相關議題探討，以達成較佳的行動影音服務收看品質。

As a result of the mature development of Mobile Telecommunication Technology (ex. 3G, WIFI) and mobile devices, the application and technology of mobile video streaming is growing dramatically. Because the transmission of mobile telecommunication is more unstable than wired network, users probably receive more unsmooth multi-media videos that are streamed ok by mobile telecommunication to the mobile device. As a result, the related technology of QoS becomes a more important issue. More researches have been involved in enhancing quality of video streaming. This research introduces the concept of the mobile video streaming and the approaches of the QoS first. Then, it takes the related issues into account and emphasizes the realization of more smooth quality from mobile video streaming.
