綜觀全球寬頻骨幹網路建置日益普及與無線寬頻網路相關技術的提昇,加上多樣化的應用軟體之蓬勃發展,每天吸引著數以百萬計的終端用戶隨時隨地在上網,造成IPv4網址數量已不敷使用。為了節省IPv4網址的使用與企業網路資訊安全的考量,網路環境的建置多採用網址轉換器(NAT)設備,這讓外界與NAT內部使用私有網域位址的終端用戶連線受到限制。要如何達到終端用戶彼此之間能夠隨時隨地無縫隙互連互通呢?因此,各種NAT穿透方法之互動式連線建立的技術因應而生。本文旨在以現今所廣泛採用的各種互動式連線建立之NAT穿透技術的基礎上,介紹NAT穿透技術之原理與我們改進此技術的設計概念。
The rapid growth of broadband backbone networks, wireless broadband networking technologies and applications has attracted millions of uses to access the Internet. As a result, IPv4 addresses have become inadequate. In order to save the use of IPv4 address and provide enterprise network security, the network environment uses the NAT equipment, which restricts the connection establishment from public domain to the private domain. Numerous mechanisms have been proposed to achieve seamless interconnection between users behind various NAT equipments. This article introduces the mechanism of Interactive Connectivity Establishment, as well as the design and architecture of our enhancement on this technology.
