室內定位系統之原理與架構分析

Indoor Positioning System and Methodology: A Survey and Analysis

摘要


精確的定位系統為達成智慧生活的關鍵技術之一,室外定位目前以Global Positioning System (GPS)為主,但GPS在室內應用時因受到Line of Sight(LOS)的限制,因此無法直接應用於室內定位。為解決室內定位的問題,專家學者已提出多種不同的方法與技術,其中包含無線訊號定位、電腦視覺分析定位、慣性元件定位、環境感測定位等技術,在這篇論文中我們將針對學界與業界在無線訊號定位與慣性元件定位領域發展的系統與方法進行原理與架構之分析,以利設計精確、低成本之室內定位系統。

Precise and reliable localization systems play an important role for smart living. Global Positioning System (GPS) is popular for outdoor applications. However, it suffers from the constraint of Line of Sight (LOS) because of its weak signal reception in an indoor environment. In order to reduce this usage constraint for indoor localization, lots of research have been conducted and published in the literature, including wireless signal positioning system, computer vision positioning system, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) positioning system, and pre-installed sensing environment system. In this paper, we will give a comprehensive survey and detail analysis on wireless signal positioning system and IMU positioning system. Hopefully this report will be helpful for someone who wants to design precise and low-cost indoor positioning system in the future.
