以雲端運算架構進行多媒體轉檔之系統實作

The Multimedia Conversion System Implementation by Using Cloud Computing Technology

摘要


本論文針對內容業者所需之多媒體轉檔功能,提出以雲端運算架構降低該類系統儲存裝置與網路負載瓶頸問題。除實際建置支援雲端運算的硬體設施,並佈建雲端運算的軟體基礎建設,於其上開發雲端運算應用。因應雲端運算的計算模式,在處理多媒體檔案時,設計適當的映射化簡(Map Reduce)演算法並實際架設軟硬體系統進行驗證。

Content providers use multimedia conversion technology to provide different service level. The prior art of the kind of technology usually in centralized computing environment, which causes I/O bottleneck in storage access and network bandwidth. We propose cloud computing system to reduce the bottleneck. Including: build hardware facilities, software infrastructure and media conversion application in cloud computing architecture. To map the computing model of Map Reduce, we redesign the software that fits multimedia conversion. After the software and hardware integration, we have initial testing result on the platform to verify the implementation.
