多角色語音合成技術的文獻回顧

摘要

目前語音合成技術的發展已經在各個方面都得到了廣泛的應用，但提供的語者大多有限，僅提供男聲或女聲。在語音合成應用於電子書時，尤其是童話故事、小說等，便顯得有些單調。因此，本論文針對近期多角色語音合成技術的研究發展做一個簡短的回顧，並討論目前技術之優缺點，以期未來多角色語音合成技術能創作出豐富且具有個人化色彩的有聲故事書，提升聆聽的樂趣。

Speech synthesis technologies have been widely applied in many applications. However, the flexibility to generate voices with different speaker's characteristics is limited, and only male and female voices can be usually chosen. When speech synthesis is applied on eBook, especially fairly tales and novels, it seems a little monotonous. Hence, this paper provides a brief review focusing on recent studies of the multi-voice speech synthesis technology. We expect that the multi-voice speech synthesis technology can be applied to develop audio-book applications with varied voices corresponding to different characteristics so as to improve the quality of listening in the future.
