無線通訊技術之共通性排程架構設計

A Common Scheduler Architecture Design for Wireless Communication Technology

摘要


本論文針對無線通訊環境中多樣的通訊技術,提出一個具有共通性、可攜性和擴充性的通用排程架構,並提出符合3GPP LTE(Long Term Evolution)基地台(eNodeB)端MAC層通訊協定所要求的上行、下行訊息傳遞功能之排程方式與軟體分工方式,不僅可解決時效限制問題,且可達成支援多用戶端設備所需的品質保證(QoS)目的。為因應基地台端之排程工作所需滿足之計算複雜度與排程效能,本排程器架構考量了頻寬配置、資料排程和通道管理等面向,依據無線承載建立時所設定的GBR、MBR和AMBR等參數搭配資料量大小、資料緊急程度、無線環境等條件,進行排程器之演算法設計,以配置用戶端上行與下行所需的頻寬,逹成對用戶端所需的品質保證。

This paper proposes a novel MAC-layer scheduling architecture which can satisfy various design requirements such as generalization, portability, and extensibility for existing mobile telecommunication systems. The proposed scheduling algorithm allocates uplink and downlink bandwidths based on the connected radio barrier parameters of GBR, MBR, and AMBR to achieve the best performance tradeoff among the system's data throughputs, timing constraints, and radio conditions. In experiments, a 3GPP LTE eNodeB system equipped with our designed scheduling module can meet these critical transmission requirements between the eNodeB and a number of UEs. As such, QoS can be guaranteed and provided for real-time applications.
