氧氫氧化鈷在一氧化碳感測技術上之研究

Study in Carbon Monoxide Sensor by Application of CoOOH Material

摘要


本研究以硝酸鈷為前驅物,氫氧化鈉為沉澱劑,空氣為氧化劑,採用沉澱-氧化法搭配水熱程序製備不同氧化態的氧化鈷(CoO(下標 x))系列產物。更進一步地將所合成的氧氫氧化鈷CoOOH應用在金屬氧化物半導體式的CO氣體感測器上當感測材料。製備CoOOH當半導體式一氧化碳(CO)氣體感測器的感測材料,其對CO的靈敏度以80℃為最高(S=5.6)。和Co3O4相比較,CoOOH有較佳的靈敏度,且可偵測的最低濃度約為1 ppm。CoOOH有著不錯的CO擇性(S(下標 co)/S(下標 H2)~4)及良好的線性(R^2=0.9903),而且不易受到其他干擾性的氣體影響。與文獻上之其它金屬氧化物相比較,CoOOH有著較低的操作溫度(~80℃)。

Different oxidation type of CoO(subscript x) were prepared from the precursor of Co(NO3)2 solution through a precipitation with NaOH and oxidation by air. Furthermore, the prepared samples were applied for sensing materials of semiconductor type CO sensors. In this study, the optimum working temperature of CO detection was about 80℃ (S=5.6). At low temperature, CoOOH exhibits better sensitivity than Co3O4 and can decrease the detection limit of CO to 1 ppm. CoOOH has a high selectivity of CO relative to H2(S(subscript co)/S(subscript H2)~4) and good linearity (R^2=0.9903) for CO concentration range from 1 to 1000 ppm. The optimum working temperature (~80℃) of CoOOH is lower than some semiconductor oxide on reviews.
