光纖雷射在光纖感測之應用

The Applications of Fiber Lasers in Sensor Systems

摘要


最近幾年光纖雷射在光纖感測之應用引起廣泛的注意,相較於傳統的光纖感測系統所使用的寬頻光源,利用光纖雷射的架構可以提高感測信號之訊雜比與波長解析度,使得光纖感測系統在實際的應用更具競爭力。在本文中我們將介紹兩種光纖雷射之架構,包含利用光纖環形雷射在長距離的光纖感測系統,與利用線形共振腔光纖雷射在具有自我修復功能的光纖感測系統,這兩種架構將有助於開發長距離與大範圍之光纖感測系統。

Fiber grating sensor systems using fiber laser schemes have been the focus of a great deal of research. In contrast with a conventional fiber grating sensor system, the advantages of a fiber-laser-based sensor system includes its high resolution for sensing signals, high optical signal-to-noise ratio, and high output power against the noisy environments. The content of this paper includes a fiber ring laser for a long-distance sensor system and a linear-cavity fiber laser for a sensor network with self-healing functions. These investigations will be useful in the fields of sensor systems.
