生醫產業的發展是目前人類科技中發展迅速的產業之一,台灣一直以來被視為是醫療發展位於前端的國家,政府投入大量的資金發展,致力於生醫產業,在各類醫療器材開發過程中,從臨床的需求結合跨領域的導入,創造出高實用價值、經濟價值尤其重要,透過工程背景串聯機械、電機、影像和生物科技等各專業技術集中於此,改善過去臨床所需的時間、成本與科技導入,作為提升人類生活與扶植的重要發展。
