A New Record of the Marine Gobiid Genus, Lubricogobius (Perciformes, Gobiidae) from Taiwan

We report a new record of the marine gobiid fish, Lubricogobius exiguus, Tanaka, 1915, off Taiwan. It was collected in 1955 from the Formosa Bank, in the southern part of the Taiwan Strait. This species is the first representative of the genus recorded from Taiwanese waters. The diagnosis, distribution and a specimen photo are given.
