對子宮頸癌前病變之病患，使用傳統腹式全子宮切除術或新式腹腔鏡全子宮切除術，何者較優？
ATH or LAVTH, Which is the Better Operation for Patient of CIN

Objective: To compare the abnormal rate of vaginal pap smear for pre-invasive cervical lesion between two different operative methods: ATH vs. LAVTH. Materials and methods: From 1998 to 1999, total 297 female patients with cervical precancer lesion who received ATH or LAVTH were collected. The last date of follow up is January 31, 2003. The follow up methods is pap smear of vaginal vault. The data was collected according the chart records. Only 134 patients completed two-year follow up periods at least. Results: Only 134 patients received follow up times over two years. Five patient had abnonnal pap smear in vaginal vault during the follow up. We found the benefit for the patient who received LAVTH than ATH, such as the rate of abnormal vaginal pap smear and hospital days. Others were no difference, except in operative blood loss. Conclusion: With such data we would propose that LAVTH is better than ATH for the patients of pre-invasive cervical lesion.
