Primary carcinoma of the vagina is a rare disease and accounts for 1-2% of all gynecological malignancies. Primary and adjuvant chemoradiation have been extensively studies in the management of locally advanced cervix cancers and have been showed to be superior to radiation therapy alone in these contexts. In addition, concurrent chemoradiation has been effective in the management of locally advanced vulvar cancer. Herein, we present 2 patients treating by synchronous radiation and cisplatin-based chemotherapy with good results, Radiation with synchronous chemotherapy may be a trend of treatment for squamous cell carcinoma of the vagina in the future.
