Endometrial cancer is associated with increased weight and body size, diabetes and that may result from an excess in calories or lack of physical activity. In addition, risk factor for endometrial cancer, including reproductive history, the use of exogenous estrogen and tamoxifen, suggests a hormone dependence for this cancer. Women with poloycystic ovary syndrome are increasingly aware of the possible risk. Body mass reduction and regulation of estrogen secretions together with regulation of metabolism seem to be basal factor that reduce the risk of developing endometrial cancer.
