子宮乳突狀漿液性內膜癌的“三明治”式療法
Carboplatin Plus Paclitaxel and Radiation in the "Sandwich" Method for Uterine Papillary Serous Cancer
摘要
子宮乳突狀漿液性內膜癌乃一種少見、但很惡性子宮內膜癌，特徵為其肉眼病灶只存在於子宮內，但顯徵鏡下常有骨盆腔外的轉移。最近經完整分期手術後，發現以carboplatin加上paclitaxel的化學治療，對該癌症有很好的治療效果。如以此兩種藥物，先行3次化學治療後，再做骨盆腔放射線治療，再做3次化學治療，稱謂“三明治”式療法，成效良好，唯仍需大規模的研究來獲得更明確的認知。

Uterine papillary serous carcinoma (UPSC) IS an uncommon but aggressive histologic subtype of endometrial cancer. Even in cases where disease is apparently confined to the uterus, the rate of recurrence is high, because of its propensity for early and intraperitoneal spread. After complete staging operation, excellent outcomes have been observed with carboplatin plus paclitaxel chemotherapy. Therefore, sequential therapy consisted of these agents for 3 cycles, follow by pelvic radiation and an additional 3 cycle of chemotherapy, this ”sandwich” approach for patients with uterine papillary serous cancer has been studied recently. Futures studies should identify the optimized chemotherapy and radiation regimens, sequence of therapy and schedule.
