Rhinosinusitis has been diagnosed and treated by way of local treatment and management. Among different methods of local treatment and management, the maxillary antral puncture and irrigation as well as nasal irrigation have the most applicable value. Other methods of local treatment and management include nasal drug application and spray, local suction of nasal discharge, nasal steaming, postoperative removal of nasal crusts, and release of postoperative nasal synechia. These procedures of local treatment and management play an important role on the treatment of rhinosinusitis and postoperative care.
