Rhinitis is a common physical disorder. It is because the nose constantly contacts with external potentially harmful environment, therefore, rhinitis is common in general population. Its etiological factors are also diverse. In this article, we try to make clear the pathogenesis of present knowing rhinitis by subdividing into two categories: allergic rhinitis and non-allergic rhinitis. Only through clarifying the mechanism of rhinitis, successful treatment may be possible.
