Basal Cell Adenoma of Parotid Gland- Case Report
腮腺基底細胞腺瘤－病例報告
摘要
Basal cell adenoma (BCA) of the salivary gland is a rare, benign neoplasm that most frequently arises in the parotid gland, and it accounts for approximately 1-3 % of all salivary gland tumors. We treated a 76-year-old woman with BCA that had developed in the left parotid gland. The patient presented with gradual facial swelling without other symptoms. She underwent a parotidectomy with preserving the facial nerve. Histopathology revealed a well-encapsulated mass with basaloid tumor cells arranged in trabecular structure and myxoid stroma. Overall findings were suggestive of BCA. Postoperatively, there was no facial nerve weakness, and the tumor did not recur during the 6-month follow-up period.

唾液腺基底細胞腺瘤是一種罕見的良性唾液腺腫瘤，常見於腮腺，佔唾液腺腫瘤約1-3％，本案例是1名76歲女性，患者在門診求診時抱怨左側面部腫脹，在數次門診追蹤後沒有其他臨床症狀，影像學檢查發現在左侧腮腺有一形狀完整的腫瘤，經過與患者討論，她決定接受保留面神經的腮腺切除手術，術後組織病理學顯示腫瘤細胞排列成小樑狀結構並有粘液樣間質，具有唾液腺基底細胞腺瘤病理學特徵，最後確診為左側腮腺基底細胞腺瘤，術後6個月門診追蹤無面神經麻痺現象，腫瘤亦未復發。
