Pleomorphic Adenoma of Hard Palate-Case Report and Literature Review

摘要

Pleomorphic adenoma, or mixed tumor, is a benign tumor of salivary glands predominantly seen in the parotid and submandibular glands. Rarely, it is seen in the minor salivary glands. Hard palate tumors are often malignant, and cautious evaluation is suggested. Wide excision of the tumor with negative margins is the treatment of choice, and removal of periosteum or bone is needed if it is involved to avoid recurrences. This report presents a case of hard palate pleomorphic adenoma with partial involvement of palatal bone and is treated with wide excision without flap repair.

多型性腺瘤（pleomorphic adenoma）或混合瘤（mixed tumor）為一種常見於腮腺或下頷腺的良性腫瘤，在少數的情況下也會生長於小唾液腺；若生長於顎部的腫瘤，則大多數為惡性的，因此需提高警覺。治療方式已廣泛切除術為主，若侵犯到骨頭則需同時刮除或切處部份顎骨以避免復發。此份病例報告是一位生長於顎部的多型性腺瘤且部份侵犯到顎骨，病人經廣泛性切除治療且不需補皮瓣，術後追蹤4個月傷口恢復良好且沒有復發。
