以綠茶兒茶素來對抗腎病氧化壓力,其對腎臟之保護效果

Preventive Effects of Green Tea Polyphenols against Oxidative Stress of Renal Disease

摘要


由於自由基所誘碳之氧化壓力會影響到許多的疾病,包括腎臟病。綠茶多酚(green tea polyphenols, 亦即兒茶素catechins)在人和老鼠之腎病模式中,可以對抗腎病及其相關併發症所產生的氧化壓力。它是強效的抗氧化劑月.以清除自由基的作用而聞名。對腎臟之上皮細胞而言,綠茶多酚可以對自山基所產生的氧化壓力有強力之抑制作用,因而可以降低細胞之損傷。如今已經相信綠茶多酚會藉著其抑制氧化性尿毒性毒素之高氣化壓力,因而對於腎性高血壓具有個別性之緩解作用。綠茶多酚之使用可藉助於其可對腎小球間質細胞(mesangial cell)增殖之抑制作用來改善腎臟功能。另外,綠茶多酚被發現對於腎臟病之疼痛可以有效減輕,其所具之抗氧化壓力和腎臟病相關連之併發症之抗氧化劑特質,業已建立綠茶的調節腎功能作用。

Renal disease largely associated with other various diseasea is affected by free radical indused oxidative stress. Green tea polyphenols, known for their powerful antioxidant and active free radical scavenger activities, were examined against the oxidative stress of renal disease and related complications in rat models and humans. The polyphenols strongly inhibited the oxidative stress of free radicals and decreased the cell injury in renal epithelial cell line. The polyphenols have relieved the high oxidation stress condition and renal hypertension by inhibiting the production of oxidative uremic toxins and improving the renal blood circulating state, respectively. The application of polyphenols improved the renal function by inhibiting the mesangial cells proloferation. The polyphenois were found effective in easing the pains concerned with renal disease. The antioxidant properties of polyphenols against oxidative stress and related complications of renal disease have established the activity of green te a in regulating renal function.
