摘要
此篇提出一例罕見的兩眼同時發生的黃斑裂孔。綜合病人的病史，視力、眼底所見、細隙燈生物顯微鏡檢查及螢光眼底血管攝影，可確定這是一例全層性兩眼黃斑裂孔。外傷為其鞏因。我們在左眼施予預防性光凝固療法，以便將來長期追踪後，明瞭此種治療在預防網膜剝離併發症發生的效果。

Macular hole was found in both eyes of 56 year-old female patient who had a history of falling down to the ground from 4 to 5 steps high in Oct. 1975. She began to suffer from blurred vision of both eyes in Feb. 1976. Visual acuity on Aug. 31, 1976 was 0.1 (n. c.) o. u. Fundoscopic & slit-lamp biomicroscopic examinations revealed bilateral macular holes which were confirmed later with fluorescein angiography as full thickness hole. The simultaneous occurrence of bilateral macular holes was rare. We considered it to be traumatic in origin and performed the prophylactic photocoagulation on the left eye. We will follow up this case for a long time and find out whether the photocoagulation is effective in the prevention of retinal detachment.
