內眼手術應用顏面神經阻斷術之臨床經驗
Clinical Experiences of Nadbath-Rehman Block in Intraocular Surgery
摘要
本文介紹53隻眼睛於內眼手術前，應用Nadbath氏和Rehman氏的顏面神經阻斷術之臨床經驗。Nadbath-Rehman阻斷術是一種有效、安全以及容易操作的方法。至於麻醉藥注射的位置就在顏面神經從莖突乳突孔出來的地方，剛好是在顏面神經的主幹上，從而使得顏面神經能得到完全的麻痺。

Nadbath-Rehman block is performed on 53 eyes in 46 patients for intraocular surgery. At a point about 1 to 2 mm anterior to the anterosuperior border of the mastoid process, the 25-gauge 5/8 inch needle is advanced into the tissue perpendicularly to its full length. About 3 to 5 ml of 2% Xylocaine is injected. It is a very easy procedure because the anatomic landmarks are constant and readily found. It is almost 100% effective and is a safe procedure because there are no significant structures in the vicinity of the VII nerve trunk that may be injured. No one of our 46 patients is found having complication in the experiment on this method.
