A 22 year-old male complaining of gradual bilateral visual deterioration was presented. Ophthalmoscopic examination revealed focal granulomata in both macular areas. Slit lamp examination revealed clear anterior segments and vitrous cavity. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), counter immunoelectrophoresis (CIE) and skin test all justified the diagnosis of toxocariasis. Oral albendazole 200mg b.i.d was administered for 3 courses. Each session consisted of 7-10 days. In final 6-month-follow-up vision was restored from 0.02 (NC) to 0.2 in each eye.
