裘安氏回縮症候群之臨床觀察及腦幹聽覺電氣反應
Clinical Observations and Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Responses in Duane's Retraction Syndrome

本文共收集29例裘安氏回縮症候群病例，觀察其臨床症狀及做腦幹聽覺電氣反應檢查。結果在Huber氏分類中，以第Ⅰ型占多數，有22例占75.9%，罹患左眼者有20例，只有1例罹患兩眼。9例接受腦幹聽覺電氣反應檢查，只有1例在第Ⅳ、Ⅴ波之潛期(latency)的延長與罹患眼吻合，因此推測此病例可能有腦幹病灶。

We collected 29 cases of Duane's retraction syndrome, evaluated clinical findings, and recorded the brain stem auditory evoked responses to determine the probable etiology. The clinical observations are: (1) 22 cases (75.9%) of type Ⅰ, (2) 20 cases (68.9%) with left eye involvement and only one bilateral cases, (3) 5 cases (17.2%) with anisometropia, (4) 7 cases (26.9%) with amblyopia. Only one case out of the 9 examined B.A.E.P. had increased latency in wave Ⅳ & Ⅴ, which correlated to the affect eye. It is postulated that there might be a probable lesion in brain stem in cases of Duane's syndrome.
