摘要
本篇報告一病例，病患右眼被一飛動銅片穿破眼球後22天，發生左眼交感性眼炎，於左眼發病後五天施行右眼眼球挖除手術，經病理證實為交感性眼炎，並早期使用類固醇治療，經兩年多治療檢查，左眼視力為1.0。

A case of Sympathetic Ophthalmia was reported. This 31 years old male patient was suffered from ocular perforation of right eye. There was no light perception of right eye after ocular trauma. The patient was recieved simple suture of the perforation wound and iridectomy. After twenty-two days, progressively blurred vision of left eye was developed. Severe retinal and macular edema, granulomatous change of choroid and hyperemic change of optic nerve were noted. FAG showed hyperfluorecence and stasis of dye in choroidal space. The right eye was enucleated after FAG examination. Histopathological examination was revealed thickening of choroid and infiltrated with epitheloid cells, lymphocyte and multimucleated giant cells. Large amount of systemic and local steroid were given and it was tapered gradually after the left eye vision was improved. The patient's left eye vision was retained 1.0 during follow up for two more years.
