1%螢光染劑和1%孟加拉紅染劑對於外眼部疾病的評估比較

A Comparison of 1% Rose Bengal and 1% Fluorescein Stainings in Evaluation of External Eye Diseases

摘要


收集外眼部疾病病例(68例104隻眼睛),先後予1%螢光染劑及1%孟加拉紅染劑,分別點於結膜下穹窿處。結果發現(1)1%孟加拉紅染劑對病變的角結膜上皮細胞易染,而1%螢光染劑則對於連續性中斷的上皮細胞具有浮透染色作用。(2)亁眼症、角結膜上皮細胞病變的病例,以孟加拉紅染劑較1%螢光染劑可以早期偵查之。(3)l%孟加拉紅染劑對眼睛引起的不適感較大,染色滯留的時間較長,以及較易外溢到眼瞼,造成外觀不雅。

104 eyes of 68 patients with external eye diseases were studied by instilling with 1% Fluorescein firstly and then 1% Rose Bengal. A comparison between these two stainings was made. The results were as followings: 1. 1% Rose Bengal can stain the degenerating epithelial cells of the conjunctiva and cornea but 1% Fluorescein can only penetrate into epithelium at the site of interrupted continuity of the epithelial surface. 2. 1% Rose Bengal staining can detect the kerato-conjunctivitis sicca, conjunctival epithelial abnormalities and degenerating corneal epithelium earlier than 1% Fluorescein staining. 3. Disadvantages of 1% Rose Bengal: a. more irritation b. need more excretion time c. stain the eyelid easily
