配戴隱形眼鏡之問題分析
Analysis of Problems Due to Contact Lenses Wearing
摘要
本文收集109例因配戴隱形眼鏡發生問題者加以分析，平均年齡是24.8歲，男女之比為1比12。隱形眼鏡種類以每日配戴軟性隱型眼鏡78例為最多，其次是硬式PMMA 18例，長戴型軟式鏡片則有13例。患者主訴以紅眼最多，其次是疼痛。在臨床上所見則以角膜上皮糜爛最多有74例，造成角膜潰瘍有6例，其中微生物培養陽性有3例，用藥物治療後3例留下角膜白斑而影響視力。 引起合併症之主要原因以使用不當最常見，包括不規則使用與逾時配戴，其次是裝配不善、保養不良，因此提高裝配水凖、教育正確之使用，是避免隱形眼鏡合併症最重要的課題。

Contact lens induced eye problems is not an uncommon complaints in patients of ophthalmo-logical service. In review of a total number of 109 patients we found that the most frequent complaints were red eyes and pain. The most common physical findings was corneal erosions. Six cases of contact lens associated corneal ulcer were treated with three cases remained permanent corneal opacity. In term of types of contact lenses used amount these patients daily wear soft contact lenses were the leading one (72%), followed by hard PMMA lenses and extended wear soft lenses. The first possible cause of the problems were patients related which included irregular wearing and overwearing. Poor fitting may be the next common cause. A correct prescription and mediculous patient education will be most helpful to avoid complications of contact lens wearing.
