摘要

母親在懷孕的前期，如果感染到德國麻疹病毒後，所產下的胎兒50%會有全身系統性的先天異常。諸如心臟病變、耳聾、白內障等等，自從1941年Gregg首先發現先天性德國麻疹症狀群並提出文獻報告後，陸續有許多學者報告德國麻疹的病例及各種畸形的治療。本文報告近一年來本院所發現的兩德國麻疹症狀群病例。

Nonimmune mother contracts rubella in first trimester of pregnancy, the subsequent rate of fetal malformation approaches 50 per cent. The characteristic anomalies of congenital rubella syndrome are those of the triad: heart lesion, deafness, and cataract. We present two cases with congenital rubella syndrome who manifested not only heart disease, deafness, but also multiple ocular findings including microphthalmia, microcornea, strabismus, retinopathy, and cataract. The presence of the virus within the eye maybe associated with the complication of surgery. The cataract surgery should be deferred until the child are medically stable and the microphthalmic eyes reach ”reasonable” size. Surgery should be undertaken in very life only if the cataract is bilateral and extensive.
