類脂醇治療視神經炎之效果評估
Evaluation of Steroids Effect on Optic Neuritis
摘要
本篇探討類脂醇對不明原因的視神經炎48病例63眼的效果。治療組42眼接受口服腎上腺皮質類脂醇，其中31眼最後視力恢復至0.8以上，佔76%，恢復期間平均是3.5星期。比較組21眼沒有接受過類脂醇治療，其中16眼最後視力恢復至0.8以上，佔76%，恢復期平均也是3.5星期。兩組沒有統計學上有意義的差別。

Fourty-eight patients with 63 involved eyes of idiopathic optic neuritis were evaluated. Fourty-two eyes were treated with oral prednisol9ne and 76% recovered to normal vision. Twenty-one eyes were treated without steroids and 76% recovered to normal vision. There is either no difference on the severity of onset vision. Oral prednisolone has no benefit for idiopathic optic neuritis.
