Oculab眼壓筆之臨床評估
Clinical Evaluation of the Oculab Tono-Pen
摘要
Oculab眼壓筆是一種新上市的可携帶式電子眼壓計。其操作原理和Mackay-Marg眼壓計相同。臨床上我們利用此種眼壓計測量角膜正常和不正常的眼球，分別和Goldmann平壓式眼壓計和Pneumotonometer比較。結果發現Tono-Pen和Goldmann眼壓計在10~20mmHg眼壓範圍內測量值相當接近。10mmHg以下Tono-Pen略微高估Goldmann眼壓計的測量值，20mmHg以上則Tono-Pen出現明顯的低估眼壓值的現象。兩者的相關係數達0.97。而在角膜有病變的眼睛，使用Tono-Pen和Pneumotonometer測量眼壓的數值相當接近，相關係數為0.97。統計學分析兩者並無明顯差異。

A new portable, electronic tonometer, the Oculab Tono-Pen, is introduced. It is similiar in principle to the MacKay-Marg tonometer. We compared the Tono-Pen tonometry with the Goldmann applanation tonometry in 162 eyes with normal cornea. We found that the Tono-Pen measured intraocular pressure in a manner that corresponded well to the Goldmann tonometer in the range of 11 to 20 mmHg interval. However, at lower intraocular pressures (＜10mmHg), the Tono-Pen tended to over-estimate intraocular pressure; at higher intraocular pressures (＞20mmHg), the Tono-Pen tended to underestimate significantly. The correlation coefficient was 0.97, We also compared the Tono-Pen tonometry with the pneumotonometry in 52 eyes with abnormal cornea. The correspondance was well correlated. No statistically significant difference was found and the correlation coefficient was 0.97.
