視神經或視網膜病變之視力變化與視覺激發試驗之關係

The Visual Evoked Potential of Patients with Decreased Vision from Optic Neuropathy or Retinopathy

摘要

In this study, we collected the VEP responses from 49 patients with different types of optic neuropathy or retinal disorders. We also had VEP test of 22 cases of control group. They were examined under the same condition. We found that when vision 6/60 or less, 9 eyes (45%) VEP was unrecordable from optic neuropathy, and 7 eyes (21%) was unrecordable from retinopathy. The comparison between ocular diseases and normal control, P1 amplitude decreased was significantly (P<0.05) from 6/60 to 6/6. The comparison between neuropathy and retinopathy was not much different when vision 6/60 or less, or better than 6/12. When the vision bettwen 6/30 and 6/15, the P1 latency of both was the same, but the p amplitude of retinopathy was less than neuropathy.
