摘要

To establish the normal data of contrast sesitivity, we collected 206 eyes of 103 normal subjects (from 8 to 55 years old) with the visual acuity 20/20 or better and measured their contrast sensitivity function using the MCT 8000. And then we devided these subjects into three subgroups according their age to compare the difference between each group. In the 40-55 age group, contrast sensitivity of low-middle spatial frequencies were below the normal range signifcently (p＜0.05). It was also noted that measuring the same eye in a serial time is important in interpretatino of contrast sensitivity.
