使用Langham血流儀來測量高度近視患者搏動性眼內血流量

Pulsatile Ocular Blood Flow in High Myopic Patients

摘要

Purpsoe: To evaluate the pulsatile ocular blood flow(POBF) in high myopic patients. Methods: A prospective evaluation of POBF and pulse amplitude were performed in 10 young patients with bilateral high myopia and 10 normal subjects of comparable ages. Measurements were obtained in the supine position with a pneumotonometer linked to a Langham ocular blood flow system. Results: In high myopic group, the mean refractive error was -10.75±0.25 D and axial length was 27.86±0.17 mm. In control group, it was -1.11±0.22 D and 24.03±0.18 mm, respectively. Patients with high myopia were found to have lower POBF in comparison with normal subjects ( 382.05±23.75 vs 733.64±52.60 microliters/min, P<0.05).The pulse amplitude also decrease in high myopic patients (0.90±0.07 vs 1.31±0.11 mmHg, P<0.05). Conclusion: This study shows that there is correlation between refraction, axial length and POBF. This may be caused by alteration in scleral rigidity and pathological changes in choroidal blood flow in high myopic patients.
