愛滋病病患合併隱球菌脈絡膜炎－病例報告
Cryptococcal Choroiditis in a Patient with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome-Case Report
摘要
目的：本篇報告一愛滋病病患合併隱球菌脈絡膜炎之病例。 方法：病例報告。 結果：病人為33歲男性，因頸部和鼻咽腫塊就診，經切片診斷為隱球菌感染，進而發現為一愛滋病病患。病患抱怨雙眼視力模糊，經檢查為兩眼視乳突水腫合併脈絡膜炎，病患因隱球菌腦膜炎合併顱內高壓病逝，眼球切片確定為一隱球菌脈絡膜炎。 結論：愛滋病病患日益增加，其併發症包括隱球菌脈絡膜炎亦趨值得重視，故提出台灣地區的首例報告。

Cryptococcus infection is a common opportunistic infection in persons infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). We reported a 33-year-old patient with neck and nose masses, which were evident of nasopharynx cryptococcomas. Positive results for HIV coincided with his immunocompromised condition. Papilloedema was noted and cryptococcal choroiditis was evident in autopsy. Ophthalmologists should become aware of a wide variety of ways in which the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) may affect the eye, including cryptococcus infection.
