建構護理交班資訊系統對工作績效影響之模式

Modeling the impact of nursing shifting system on job performance

摘要


交班是護理人員每日的首要任務,透過有效的溝通,得以讓接班人員迅速獲取病人的資訊而提供連續性照護,但若是交班資訊不正確、不完整或者有偏差可能會造成病人發生嚴重的合併症。隨著資訊科技的進步,應用資訊系統取代傳統的交班模式被認為是具有潛在的效益,因此藉由此研究深入探討交班系統使用成效之評估。本研究主要以資訊系統成功模式為基礎,探討護理人員對交班系統的使用滿意度及個人工作績效之影響。研究對象為南部某區域教學醫院250位護理人員以結構式問卷進行橫斷式研究,有效問卷226份,有效回收率為90.4%。結果顯示,系統品質、資訊品質、服務品質及交班任務特性皆對使用者滿意度呈現正向顯著影響;使用者滿意度對個人工作績效呈現正向顯著影響,使用者滿意度與個人工作績效的R^2分別為0.616 及0.583。藉此研究提供醫院管理者未來開發新系統的設計參考,對已導入交班系統之醫療機構,可做為改善系統或提升系統之依據,使其更能滿足使用者之需求。

Shift handover is the priority task of nursing staff. Oncoming nurses gain their patients' medical information rapidly and facilitate the continuity of patient care through effective communication. However, an inaccurate, incomplete or misinterpreted shift handover report may lead to serious patient complications. Along with the advancement of information technology, it is potentially beneficial to replace the traditional shift handover report with the information system. Therefore, this study provides an in-depth evaluation of the effectiveness of the shift system. This study explored the user satisfaction and individual performance of nursing staff on the shift handover system through the Information System Success Model. We employed a cross-sectional design to conduct a structured questionnaire survey on 250 nursing staffs from a regional teaching hospital in Southern Taiwan: 226 valid respondents, giving a response rate of 90.4%. The results show that system quality, information quality, service quality, and task characteristics have positively significant effects on user satisfaction. In addition, user satisfaction has a positively significant effect on personal performance. The R-squared of the research model for user satisfaction and individual performance are 0.616 and 0.583, respectively. This study provides a design reference for hospital administrators on developing new information systems in the future. Furthermore, it provides guidelines for medical institutions on improving or upgrading the shift handover system to satisfy their user needs.
