摘要

根據中小企業處的調查，新創公司在五年存活率僅有1%。這麼高的死亡率，往往不是因為它們找不出好的創業點子，而是如何成功地建立一個可以長期永續的商業模式（Kim, Kim, and Jeon2018）。本個案以一家從事塑膠材料循環利用的中小新創企業─環海淨塑為對象，介紹它們推出在超商中提供循環使用飲料杯的專案─塑環真循環杯。讓同學透過個案分析，探討在一個數位化轉型的創新專案中，企業可以如何運用建立智慧財產權，來保障自己的商業模式，守護未來永續營運的可能性。

According to a report by Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, the five years survival rate of startups is only 1%. Such a high mortality rate is often not because they can't find good and innovated ideas. But they often fail to build a long-term sustainable business model. This case focuses on a small and medium sized startup - Blue Ocean Vision. It engaged in the recycling of plastic materials, and try to introduce their project to provide recycled beverages cups in the CVSs. Through the case analysis, we allow the students to explore how companies can use the establishment of intellectual property rights in an innovative project to protect their business models and increase their sustainability.
