摘要

本文企圖經由介入後現代主義及文化研究兩者之間的辨論，找尋一個新的論述空間。透過理論，歷史，文化政治及大眾－媒體四個不同層次的分析、辨視出兩者之間的異同點及交錯面之同時，本文亦點出兩個論述空間內在性的限制；只有在相互連結，閉創出新的理論方向，才可能消除原有的界限，使得文化分析更貼切於新現實、新世界。

This essay searches for a new discursive space by engaging the between critical postmodernism and Cultural Studies. Confronting four levels or axes of analysis-theory, history, cultural politics and massnaedicn, points and lines of conrergenle, divergence and in tersection are identified, and the internal limits of discursire boundaries are located. It argues that only by building mutual allinance and connections, new theoretical directions can be charted to erace the existing boundaries and constrains, which enable culturul analysis coming closer to the configuration of new realities and new worlds.
