鋁表面之電解拋光研究

Study of Electropolishing on Aluminum Surface

摘要


本研究提供一簡便方法,量測鋁表面電解拋光之時間與外加電壓參數對表面的影響。利用電解拋光法使純鋁表面具光學級之平坦度,鋁板於電解拋光之過程中會產生蝕刻、拋光、孔蝕等現象,本實驗藉由拋光時間之改變,可由光學顯微鏡觀察以上現象。純鋁表面之平坦度隨電解拋光時間與外加電壓而變化,當電解拋光時間不足或外加電壓太低時,表面易殘留機械拋光時之刮痕,而當電解拋光時間太長或外加電壓太高時,表面易受化學溶液影響而產生孔蝕現象,因此,唯有適當地控制電解拋光時間與外加電壓值,才可使鋁表面具光學級之平整度。

This study provides a convenient method to obtain the conditions of electro-polishing for aluminum. In order to obtain a surface as optical level on aluminum the electro-polishing procedure was used. Three morphologies would appear during electro-polishing on aluminum surface, as etching polishing, and pitting. In our experimentS, the varied time of polishing the varied morphologies of etching polishing, and pitting on aluminum surface could be obtained by optical microscopy. When the applied voltage is too low or the polishing time is insufficient on aluminum, the surface shows mechanical scrapes. When the applied voltage was too high or the excessive polishing time is too long on aluminum, the surface shows chemical pitting. Therefore, suitable control on the applied voltage and polishing time the aluminum surface could be polished as smooth as optical surface.
