廢鑄砂資源化作為替代性砂石骨材之探討

The Discussion of Waste Foundry Sand Reuse as the Aggregate Substitute

摘要


隨著來自於工業產品及廢棄材料的數量增加,廢棄物的管理變成世界上主要的環境議題,掩埋空間的缺乏及其費用的增加,廢棄物的利用及再利用變成引人注目的替代選擇,台灣也不例外。廢棄的鑄造砂係來自於鐵及非鐵金屬鑄造工廠產品的產物。當這個砂無法於鑄造廠中被再使用,而從鑄造廠中移除,則被稱為廢鑄砂(WFS)。既然已發表的文獻指出,廢鑄砂運用於:回填材料、控制性低強度材料、混凝土及相關製品、瀝青混凝土及陶瓷製品等是可行的,除了現有的再利用方向外,如何運用在其他方向(如粉光砂、結構性混凝土等),以提升其產品附加價值,仍有待進一步研究。

With increasing quantities of industrial by-products and waste materials, waste management has become the major environmental concerns worldwide. Due to the lack of land-filling space and the increase of disposal cost, waste reutilization has become one of the important anywhere in the world, including Taiwan.Waste Foundry Sand is considered to be a by-product in ferrous and non-ferrous metal casting industries. After casting, the casting sand, if not been reused, it is disposed from the foundry as Waste Foundry Sand (WFS).Published literatures have shown that WFS could be used as Backfill Material, Controllable Low strength Materials (CLSM), Concretes and related product, Asphalt concrete and Ceramic article etc. In addition to the existing the reuse applications just mentioned, how to utilize in other applications such as Aggregate for Masonry Motar, Constitutive concretes etc. and to promote its added product value still need further study and research.
