臺灣西南部南勢崙砂岩的岩相及沈積環境分析

Lithofacies and Depositional Environment Analyses of the Nanshihlun Sandstone in Southwest Taiwan

摘要


臺灣西部麓山帶最南段位於高雄市境內,出露有上新-更新世的沈積地層。其中上新世晚期的濱海相地層為南勢崙砂岩。南勢崙砂岩大致可分為上、下兩段。上段以厚層砂岩為主,主要出露於大社區的觀音山露頭。下段以中至厚層砂岩和泥岩互層為主,主要出露於觀音山以東。本文經岩相分析後共區分出8個岩相,分別有5個砂岩相,2個泥岩相和1個薄砂泥互層岩相。以經常相伴隨發生的岩相共歸納出2個岩相組合,分別解釋為為濱面環境及潮坪環境。依岩相組合垂直堆疊的順序推測其下段沈積環為濱面環境,上段變淺為潮坪環境。本文區分出更細的岩相並且提出上段沈積環境的新見解。

The southernmost Western Foothills in Taiwan is located in Kaohsiung City and contains Pliocene-Pleistocene sedimentary stratigraphy. The upper Pliocene stratigraphy is the Nanshihlun Sandstone. The lower Nanshihlun Sandstone exposed at the Guanyinshan area in Dashe district that is dominated by massive bedded sandstone, while the upper at the east of the Guanyinshan area that is composed of massive bedded sandstone and mudstone interbeds. This paper distinguished eight lithofacies and ascribed into two facies associations. The two facies associations are interpreted as the shoreface and the tidal flat environments. Baseed on the vertical stacking of facies associations, the depositional environments of the Nanshihlun Sandstone was shallow upward from the shoreface to the tidal flat. This paper refines lithofacies and provides new interpretation of depositional environment of the upper part.
