合成多胺基磁性吸附劑應用於吸附水中磷酸鹽

Adsorption of Phosphate in Aqueous Solution by Magnetite Modified with Diethylenetriamine

摘要


磁性核殼材料作為吸附劑可以克服水溶液中微小顆粒的回收問題,本實驗中的磁性核殼材料係以Fe3O4為核心,再以矽酸鈉對其表面做SiO2層包覆(SiO2/Fe3O4)以保護Fe3O4,然後再添加硝酸鋁對SiO2層進行穩定化作用(Al/SiO2/Fe3O4),以嘗試降低SiO2包覆層長時間在水溶液中矽的溶出量,利用一長鏈的3-氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷(3-chloropropy-ltrimethoxysilane)修飾磁性核殼材料的表面,因為胺基質子化作用所產生的正電荷與水中帶負電之磷酸鹽可藉由正負電荷吸引,達到吸附效果,所以再利用Diethylenetriamine(DETA,二乙烯三胺)作為修飾磁性核殼材料的表面,使其成為表面具有胺官能基的磁性吸附劑。實驗中利用FT-IR、VSM及BET對所合成的吸附劑作材質分析。經由最佳吸附pH値的條件探討實驗發現,水溶液pH 値為3時,可達最大的吸附量;將等溫吸附實驗數據代入分析後發現,改質型磁性材料對磷酸鹽的吸附行為符合Langmuir 吸附模式,其最大吸附量(Qm)和Langmuir 平衡常數(kL)分別為48.19mg-P g-1與0.008 L mg-1。

Phosphate is one of the main contaminants responsible for the eutrophication of surface waters, and adsorption is a potential treatment method of this pollutant. A magnetic adsorbent manufactured from magnetite (Fe3O4) can be easily recovered from treated water by magnetic force, without requiring further downstream treatment. A magnetic adsorbent, amine-functionalized silica magnetite (NH2-Al/SiO2/Fe3O4), has been synthesized to behave as a cationic adsorbent by adjusting the pH value of the aqueous solution to make amino groups protonated. NH2-Al/SiO2/Fe3O4 was used to adsorb phosphate ions in aqueous solution in a batch system, and the maximum adsorption was found to occur at pH 3.0. The adsorption equilibrium data were all fitted the Langmuir isotherm equation reasonably well, and the maximum adsorption capacities and the Langmuir adsorption constant of phosphate ions were 48.19 mg g-1 and 0.008 L mg-1, respectively.
