An Interpretation on Redar Target Scattering Mechanisms through Scattered Field Data Analysis

藉由散射場資料分析以解釋雷達目標的散射機制

摘要


在高頻時,雷達目標的散射機制可分類為:鏡面反射、邊緣散射、多重反射、行進波與潛動波等。通常的狀況下以前面三種的貢獻為最主要。所以藉由回波資料的分析以了解與解釋其散射機制,對目標特徵識別而言是十分重要的。在本論文中數個具有不同幾何結構特徵之目標將被考慮,而其回波資料將用基波轉換來分析以獲取觀測角對都卜勒頻移之表示式。檢視此表示式,目標之散射機制將可輕易地分類,識別和解釋。因此本方法可提供有用之資料以作為目標識別或霄達成像之用。

At high frequency, the scattering mechanisms of a radar target can be grouped into specular reflection, edge diffraction, multiplereflection, traveling waves, and creeping waves, etc. In most cases, the first three mechanisms are dominant to contribute the backscattered signals. SO, it is important for target features identification purpose to understand and interprete the scattering mechanisms through analyzing the backscattered field data. In this paper, several targets with different geometrical structures aare considered and the scattered field data are ana1yzed by using Wavelet Transform to acquire the aspect-Doppler representations for these targets. By inspecting these representations, the scattering mechanisms of these radar targets can be easily grouped, identified, and interpreted. Therefore, the proposed technique for scattering mechanisms interpretation through scattered field data analysis could provide useful information for target identification or radar imaging applications
