Hypersonic Flow Calculations Using a Robust Implicit Scheme

利用穩健隱式法計算極音速流

摘要


本文旨在發展一穩健尤拉解子,用以研究非黏性極音速通過二維圓柱體之空氣行爲,所考慮之自由流馬赫數在4.6到15之間。本尤拉解子是採用隱式總變量消失法和一個改良之流量限制器。吾人亦嘗試其它流量限制器,並報導使用不同熵修正係數值的影響。爲了驗證本解子之正確性,計算結果與實驗數據作比較,結果顯示本解子之解爲相當準確。

An inviscid, equilibrium air flow at hypersonic speeds past a cylinder is considered. The freestream Mach number ranges from 4.6 to 15. The objective is to develop a robust Euler solver for hypersonic flow calculations within the range of the freestream Mach number. An implicit total variation diminishing scheme (TVD) of Yee and Harten combining with an improved flux limiter of Liang et al. is employed for the Euler solver. Other flux limiters in TVD schemes were also tried. The results of using different values of the entropy correction coefficient involved in flux limiters are reported. The Euler solver was validated with experimental data at the Mach numbers of 4.6 and 8.06. It was found that the present solver is reasonably accurate.
