Numerical Prediction of Phase-Change Problems by the Unstructured Grids

摘要


本篇論文以簡單、強勁、可靠的MAC方法應用於非結構性三角網格及固定格點法計算金屬錄溶解,因爲隱式法沒有時間間隔限制,本文亦使用隱式法提供比較,模擬結果和結構性網格數值解及實驗值相當吻合。由於三角網格法適用於複雜幾何外形,本篇亦提出三角形區域暫態溶解過程,將進一步透視金屬溶解問題。

A simple, robust and reliable explicit numerical method MAC (Marker and Cell) is applied for melting of gallium by fixed-grid method on an unstructured grid. Owing to no limitation on the time step for implicit method, this investigation also apply implicit MAC method for the same problem. Results obtained from the unstructured triangular grid correlate well with the structured mesh computations and experimental data. Also, the feasibility of applying the triangular grid to the complex geometry is demonstrated by calculating triangular domains for a transient melting process. Results presented herein give further insight into the melting of pure metal problem.
