Numerical Study of Underwater Shock Wave Focusing

水中震波聚焦之數值研究

摘要


本文是以數值方法研究水中震波或爆炸波於凹曲面反射體之聚焦現象。數值方法是採用改良之隱式全變量消去法以解尤拉方程式,該尤拉方程式是用以描寫水中震波或爆炸波之統御方程式。文中探討水中平面爆震波反射和聚焦時之流體特性。本文亦詳細報導及分析爆炸波從截斷反射體反射後膨脹波所引起之負壓區(代表舒張力區域)。此外,文中亦探討截段橢圓反射體之幾何參數對震波聚焦之效應。

Underwater shock or blast wave focusing over concave reflectors was numerically studied. An improved implicit total variation diminishing scheme was employed for solving the Euler equations that describe the flow motion with shock or blast waves. The flow characteristics caused by wave reflection and focusing over the reflector were investigated. Expansion waves and the region of negative pressures that represent tensile stresses were analyzed and discussed. The effects of the geometric parameters associated with a truncated ellipsoidal reflector and the initial shock waves on shock wave focusing were explored.
