Performance Improvement by Integrating Preventive Maintenance and Production Scheduling for a Two-Machine Flow Shop

整合生產排程與預防維護計畫以改善流線型雙機台效益

摘要


近年來,有不少學者研討生產排程與預防維護計畫於單機台之整合相關議題。有效的排程訂單策略能為企業帶來最大的生產力及盈收,而預防維護乃在保持設備於良好的運作狀態,且適時必要的修護,更得以使整個生產系統得以運作自如。而生產計畫一般而言包括生產排程及維護排程兩部分,預防維護和生產排程應是二個相互依賴的動作,但他們的執行卻是經常獨立的。本研究延續相關議題於流線型雙機台之生產型態,整合機台預防保養與排程狀況之探討,並以總加權工作延遲懲罰成本最小化做為本研究之目標。本研究透過大量數據代入整合模式與非整合模式中,比較雙方之結果並針對整合之效益做其分析。實驗結果顯示出以整合模式會有顯著的成本改善效益。

Generally, production planning includes production scheduling and preventive maintenance, and they are activities that are inter-reliant to production system but often performed separately. Recently a few scholars have studied the integrated preventive maintenance and production scheduling for a single machine, thus this study proposes an integrated model that simultaneously determines production scheduling and preventive maintenance policies in a two-machine flow shop to improve production performance by means of minimizing the total weighted tardiness cost of jobs. This study demonstrates the benefits of integration by a numerical example, and compares the integrated solution with the solution obtained from solving the production scheduling and preventive maintenance problems separately. A large samples simulation experiment shows that the two models are significant different, where the penalty cost resulted from tardiness of the integrated model is smaller than that from the non-integrated model. The sensitivity analysis shows that the preventive maintenance processing time, the repair time, and the shape parameter of the Weibull distribution are the three parameters that influence the penalty cost. Among the three parameters, the repair time has a most significant impact on the penalty cost.
