本研究的目的在探討專科護生對護理專業的承諾及其影響因素。研究對象為某護理專科學校一三、五年級學生,共2,978人。資料收集工具為「護生專業承諾量表」、賴氏人格測驗和處事性向測驗,由學生自答。所得的資料以單因子變異數分析、相關檢定及徑路分析等方法處理。結果顯示:(1)護生的專業為2.93分,具中上程度。(2)護生的專業承諾由高至低依序為一,五,三年級,呈顯著差異。 (3)就讀護理之歸因中以個人意願就讀之護生專業承諾最高,其次為家庭因素,最低為其它因素。(4)社會適應良好、情緒穩定、外向等人格特質的護生,處事性向能力較高,對護理角色的感覺較好的護生專業承諾較高;母親教育程度,父親教育程度較高的護生專業承諾較低。(5)徑路分析發現護生的人格特質、學習成績及護理角色感覺對其專業承諾有顯著的預測性,人格特質是影響專業承諾最重要的因素。研究結果對護理教育提出意見,可作為教育人士的參考。
The purpose of this study was to understand the professional commitment of nursing students in junior college and the related factors. A total of 2,978 students completed the qestionnaires: nursing professional commitment, personality and aptitude. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and path analysis. The results showed that: (1) The nursing students exhibited a medium-high degree of professional commitment, the average score was 2.93. (2) The students, professional commitment was significantly associated with the Fade. The first-years' was the highest and the third-years' was the lowest. (3) The students who chose nursing as a career of their own accord showed the highest professional commitment. (4) The students' personality, aptitude and nurse role perception were positively correlated with their professional commitment. The mother's education and father's education were negatively correlated with professional commitment. (5)Path analysis showed that personality, academic achievement and nurse role perception were the predictors of nursing professional commitment. Personality is the most important predictor of professional commitment. The implications for nursing education and future studies were suggested.
