摘要

本研究運用家庭壓力脈絡模式，探討癌病兒童接受化療或放射治療期間，母親之家庭壓力經驗。研究採描述相關性研究設計，旨在調查母親之不確定感感、掌控感與焦慮之關係。以立意取樣，資料來源爲台北、台中二所教學醫院，100位正接受癌病治療病童的母親。前驅研究顯示諸量表有良好的信效度。研究結果顯示掌控感是不確定感與焦慮感的中介變項。病童曾有癌症複發經歷者，其母親之掌控感比病童無複發經驗的母親爲低。病童接受治療頭2個月與掌控感爲焦慮感之預測變貢，可解釋15.59%變異量。研究結果可做爲強化癌病兒童母親面對壓力調適之護理措施參考。

Based on a contextual family stress management model, the purpose of this study was to examine the stress experienced by mothers during the treatment of their children with cancer. A descriptive correlational study was designed to examine the relationship among mothers’ uncertainty, sense of mastery, and anxiety. One hundred mothers of children with cancer from two teaching hospitals were enrolled for the study. A pilot study was performed to examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the instruments. Sense of mastery acts as a mediator between uncertainty and anxiety. Both the child umdergoing treatment for less than two months and sense of mastery were significant predictors of anxiety, which explained 15.59% of variance. The results of this study not only extend our knowledge of a mother’s perception of family system stress, but also provide important information to empower family adaptation in caring for a child with malignancy.
